The HKU Master of Family Wealth Management Programme (“FWM”) seeks recent university graduates and young professionals who exhibit a propensity to become well-rounded family wealth managers. We look for students who:
Prior work experience – either in wealth management or otherwise – is not required. The Admissions Committee shall review each candidate’s profile holistically, across his or her academic, extracurricular, and work experiences.

To be eligible for admissions to the Master of Family Wealth Management programme, a candidate must satisfy both the HKU University Admissions Requirements and Programme-Specific Requirements.

The proposed tuition fee* of the Master of Family Wealth Management programme for the 2026 intake is HK$462,000. The balance will be payable in 2 instalments over one academic year, irrespective of the number of courses taken in each module.
There is also a non-refundable application fee of HK$300.

The Family Wealth Management Programme office has set aside funding for merit-based scholarship to the programme. Scholarships may be granted to the most qualified students to partially cover tuition of the programme.
Candidates who would like to be considered for a scholarship shall submit an additional statement in the admissions portal. The additional statement (max. 300 words) shall provide a rationale from the candidate on why he/she is most qualified for the scholarship; the statement’s content is as instructed here.
The number and amount of scholarships are at the full discretion of the Programme Office.
